3. Sign in to the dashboard.
4. Open the wallet summary and confirm that the $10 promotional credit appears.

The dashboard is the control plane for your wallet, virtual keys, key limits, and usage. API traffic goes to the same public host, https://api.nexoai.ma, but you should not send model requests from the dashboard page itself.

No card, no abonnement

The welcome credit is prepaid. NexoAI does not turn it into a subscription when it runs out. Requests stop when no spendable balance remains, unless you top up the wallet.

Before the first request

Use the free credit to validate one small request before integrating a long-running agent or application. This confirms three things at once: your account is active, your key is correct, and the chosen model ID is available to the key.

A safe first sequence is:

1. Create a key called local-quickstart.
2. Give it a small total budget cap, such as an amount appropriate for your test.
3. Run the curl quickstart.
4. Review the resulting usage in the dashboard.

If the credit is missing

Refresh the wallet view once and confirm that you signed into the newly created account rather than an existing one. If the promotional credit still does not appear, use the support path shown inside the dashboard and include the account identifier—never include an API key.
